Existem emuladores de praticamente todas as consolas que já existiram, até mesmo uma versão online do NES 8-bits.

O Visual Boy Advance é um emulador de Game Boy Advance que também roda jogos de Game Boy Pocket e Game Boy Color. Esse é o único emulador de GBA(Game Boy Advanced) lançado até agora, possui óptimos gráficos e aceita códigos de game shark. Os jogos rodam com a velocidade e som iguais aos do Gameboy.
A compatibilidade dele com a maioria dos jogos é excelente, rodando praticamente todas as ROMs disponíveis. Apesar do fabricante não ter fornecido os requerimentos, você não deve ter maiores problemas com a configuração. A nossa sugestão é que você utilize um processador de mais ou menos 500 MHz porque o Gameboy Advance é uma máquina de 32-bit, requerendo mais poder de processamento para ser emulado.
Além de tudo isso podem ser configuradas as teclas de jogo (pode ser acrescentado um joystick, comando PC e até mesmo um volante!), a velocidade, a captura de print screens, a qualidade dos gráficos e até usar hacks e cheats...
